Moments of a Glacier (2024) is an art film that focuses on exploring glacier materials from Sólheimajökull through a microscopic lens and an old Icelandic folk song Lóuvísur. The film offers a new perspective of the melting phenomena and transports the viewer into the glacier - and all the materials it carries.

Artists Antonía Bergþórsdóttir, Íris María Leifsdóttir, Vikram Pradhan and Alberte Parnuuna examine glacial ice and glacial clay from Sólheimajökull with a microscope, to reveal what lies hidden within the ice. Sermit | Jöklar is an interdisciplinary collaboration that sheds light on the effects of melting glaciers and climate change. They have been travelling back and forth to Greenland and Iceland since 2023.
